Age of Your Website is another critical factor in page rank. Do not confuse domain age with domain registration. The area that counts is when you started publishing content for the spiders to crawl. This cannot be faked: for example an Alexa check of your site will show the first versions ever crawled. I am so nervous of Wordpress I have tweaked with it as little as possible. If your site is important in its niche then other relevant sites will mentions you in their articles and blogs, and seek link exchanges with you. So you need to work on your link exchanges regularly.

If you spend some time getting familiar with the Technorati site you should soon see increased traffic to your blogs.

There are a number of different strategies you can use to increase link popularity for a website or blog. The most popular tactics for link development include distributing articles to syndicated publishers, buying inbound links, reciprocal traded links with other websites. Press releases can be a very good way to gain link popularity but your release will only be featured if it is about something new or different that you are doing, otherwise it will be ignored by publishers. One popular link popularity method is to get inbound links from blogs. Blogs, being frequently added to and updated, are great search engine food. The inbound links from blogs are natural and relevant, as long as the right anchor text is used.
