Arresting
A growing concern here in the UK is a creeping erosion of civil liberties. Anybody who is charged or cautioned by the police is obliged to give a DNA sample, and if they refuse the police will take the sample by force. These samples are then kept on a police database forever, even if charges do not proceed to court - as is the case for the majority of arrests.
