There is so much talk of doom and gloom in the world financial markets, maybe I am just a naive optimist but I feel like saying ‘wake up and smell the coffee’. The mistakes of the US property market have not been replicated in any other country and there is little likelihood of this happening, since housing is in short supply in most of Europe at least. Until we were told we had problems, we appeared to have a buoyant economy if you observe the coffee bar barometer – so many of them are opening in my high street, all doing good business. this is certainly a boost for the makers of espresso machines at least.

Time management is among the biggest challenges for anyone running a home business. There is never enough of it and you need to manage your time and yourself to get everything done without working an 18-hour day. Do not neglect your fitness management, either. If you cannot get to a gym regularly then consider whether you have the self-discipline to use exercise equipment on a regular basis. If not, then get yourself to the gym – now!

The limited space in our homes over here produces a challenge as the amount of audio visual and information technology equipment increases. TVs are now much larger in screen size, although they are no longer deep so they can either sit on tv shelves or be fixed to the wall. The average living area also has to accommodate a computer as well, so storage and organisation is paramount.

Plans for the Big Family Wedding are now going into overdrive, with just six weeks to go till the big day. Because it takes place in the middle of the Christmas and New Year break there was uncertainty whether the florist could get hold of all the right wedding flowers. My first experience with using broadband, at my previous home, was pretty straightforward. I just signed up for the cheapest standalone service, plugged in the modem and started work. The speed was clearly faster than when I had been using a dialup service from home, and I found downloads came through much quicker. That was when I lived in a big city, where the speeds are pretty good for all the companies. (more…)

The Difference between a 1 up and 2 up Program
1 up and 2 up programs are becoming more visible over the internet as Home Business Opportunities. There are so many different ones out there. For the new people wanting a home business over the internet and understanding what a 1 up or 2up,versus a 0 up means, can be confusing. I know it left my head spinning in circles until I did some research on different companies. So exactly what does this mean? (more…)

I’m the One and the power lives within you…
There is a verse in the poem “I’m the One” that reads “As the flame flickers and falters, slowly leaving you breathless, I am the One; the one to breathe the fire of life back into the fibers of who you are.”
Where do we draw from when we can’t see how we can have what we want? Is it that we’ve stopped believing in ourselves? Have we simply given up on our dreams? Have we become resigned or complacent with what we currently know and have? Are we simply comfortable with the way things are?

Has winter really only just started? The dark nights are already making me long for a short break, somewhere exciting and full of creativity. The choice of city breaks available in Europe is now mind blowing, as more and more cities work hard to provide the attractions to make your stay exciting and new. Of course, Barcelona is a long standing favourite and the hotels in Barcelona reach very high standards. You can find some excellent prices by using http://www.easytobook.com/en/barcelona-hotels/. When you are undertaking any major business venture or purchase it is prudent to reflect on how the wnterprise would fare if you were no longer around. None of us likes to contemplate this possibility but the effects on those left behind can be catastrophic if you and your earning power are no longer around. If you shop around for life insurance quotes you will find that peace of mind can come at a very low cost.
