eBay auctions tutorial

Writing Good Descriptions For eBay Auctions

Now that you’ve attracted bidders with your auction title, you have to get them to bid on your item by telling them why they should bid. What you are essentially doing is writing sales copy. You want to get them excited about what you are offering.

You should start off with a headline and a sub-headline. This is something that most eBay sellers fail to do is use a headline to begin their description. A good headline should create a problem that the reader can identify with and stress the main benefit of your product in solving that problem. It should also generate excitement and a desire to learn more about your product.

After the headline, you introduce your product with an overview. The overview shows the value of what you are offering and shows them why it’s a great solution to the problem you introduced in your headline. Then you describe your item in detail. You want to include all pertinent details of your item, such as brand, make and model, condition, warranty, packaging details and any other relevant information. Tell any interesting features about the product that make it stand out, what you can do with the item, and so on. All this will help demonstrate the value of the item. (more…)

Here’s a Great Way To Make Terrific Money In The Stock Market!

Penny stocks are an exhilarating investment opportunity. Some people don’t look at these sorts of investments since they think that they are full of risk. The nice news is that there’s so much opportunity to make enormous cash with penny shares if you know what to look for.

Typically I consider any stock under two dollars to be a penny share and invest in newer companies rather than established companies. Some shares of established companies are inexpensive based on problems that the business has had. Rather than invest in these companies, I look for newer companies that are in the growth stage. This makes it possible to earn some huge cash in the future. (more…)

Work At Home Jobs

Who doesn’t dream of finding a work at home job and having some control over their future as well as increased earning potential? Is it possible to do this online? YES, it definitely is!

There are people that keep searching and searching online to find a legitimate work at home job. However, there are people that have already found a great company to work with and are making a fabulous income from home. So what have they done specifically that you can form yourself after and begin earning online?

This article will give you some useful information that will help you in your search for that work from home opportunity that is just right for you.

Research

The first thing that you should do in your search for a successful work at home job is to get busy doing some research. There are thousands of opportunities available today online. You won’t ever be able to know what is out there for you if you don’t investigate it.

Choose Something That Interests You

It’s not hard to figure out that if you choose something that does not interest you, then you probably won’t be likely to promote it for very long. It is much easier to become successful at doing something that you are passionate about. Begin with what you are passionate about and then start searching from there. If you can get paid for doing something that you love to do, then why wouldn’t you try and make that happen?

Take Action

While doing a lot of research is great, at some point you have to jump off of the fence and get into the game. You won’t be able to start making money online if you don’t take action. (more…)

US Makes Owning Gold Illegal

Written on June 22nd, 2009 by no shouts

There was a time, for forty one years that it was illegal to own gold. In 1933 Franklin D. Roosevelt made it illegal for any person in the United States to own hoards of gold. The ban was not lifted until legislation was signed in 1974 by President Gerald Ford. Although the new bill did not do away with the Gold Clause Resolution of 1933, people could now buy and trade gold as a commodity.

After the great depression is when this all happened. Foreign banks, who were afraid of the failing economy, were turning in their paper money in exchange for gold. The gold supply was being depleted in the US.S. Reserve. Up until then the United States had been on the gold standard. Many dollar bills, like the fifty, were printed with a yellow back which indicated it could be turned in for the gold rate.

The Executive Order 6102 made it illegal for anyone to own more than $100 worth of gold. Citizens had to turn in their gold in exchange for paper money. The gold coins were melted down into bars by the U.S. Treasury department. This was done to keep the U.S. Overseas market avoid panic and keep the dollar afloat. The tactic worked.

Gold coins were not being turned in however. Private collections still have a few. These coins are considered a rare thing and extremely sought after by collectors and coin dealers everywhere. Certain $20 gold coins can range in value from $500 to over $20,000 depending on the marks and condition of the coin.

Gold is a timeless investment. The value of engagement rings has gone up considerably more and more over the years. Suppy and demand law is the reason why. The mines are not producing enough gold to satisfy the demand. Banks were selling their reserves and keeping the prices more stable. Now that they are holding on to the gold and the demand has increased, the prices are climbing. It is expected to peak at about $1,000 per troy ounce by mid summer of 2008.

The U.S. Treasury has also started to produce and offer for sale the gold eagle coin. This 1 troy ounce coin has a face value of $50. This is enabling anyone who wants to invest in gold to do so. The coins are also available in the ½ ounce, ¼ ounce, and 1/10 ounce varieties as well. Being able to invest in the gold market has finally become possible for the middle class. Many people are finding it worth the investment.

Investing in gold is a wise choice. Going up is the direction of the price. The demand is also growing. The ability to have it with you and easily transport it is a benefit. The fact that it is a tangible product that never loses value is the best reason to invest in gold. Now that the U.S. Treasury has made the coins available on the open market, anyone who ever thought of investing in gold can do so.

Written on July 14th, 2008 by no shouts

How to Set Up Your Home Office and How it Determines Your Success
If you are like many of people that start working from
home, your desk space is probably cluttered, and you can
rarely find what you are looking for, especially at a time
that you really need it. Setting up your home office space
truly does have an impact on your business success.

Organization is a skill that can be learned by anyone,
which is very good news. One key ingredient, which I
can’t emphasize enough, to becoming better organized,
is to take one small step, then take each step after that
one at a time. (more…)

Is Scriptdojo all hype?

Written on September 29th, 2007 by no shouts

Joel Comm launched a new information product Affiliate store, product called ScriptDojo almost three weeks ago and of course thousands of affiliate marketers have been promoting the product. It is very easy to sign up for the free trial but what happens then? Affiliates get two links, one takes visitors to a sales page where they sign up for their own store, and the other displays your own ScriptDojo store. The problem I have found with the store page is that it will not redirect from my own hosted web pages using a 301 redirect. The landing page that appears is the one belonging to Joel: not exactly what was intended!

Is this for real? Agloco email

Written on June 4th, 2007 by no shouts

I never thought I would see this – I just got an email telling me my viewbar is ready to download at ag loco.  Call me cynical but I had more or less lost faith in ever seeing this.  I am busy blogging this afternoon so I have to wait a while before I can test the viewbar out.  Stay tuned, I’ll write it up very soon.

Revenue Sharing Forums

Written on April 7th, 2007 by no shouts

The best Paid to Post Forum I am using is called betlik. It pays you for posting in a ‘currency’ called BK$, but you can cash them out when you reach $5 US. You are paid roughly the equivalent of $0.03 per post so the cash can build up quite quickly. I have been using other revenue sharing forums that were paying higher sums but then they reduced the payment plan: Betlik is my recommendation for this week.

Agloco Land

You may remember that the delayed launch of the Agloco viewbar (on which the whole business depends) was promised for launch in March 2007. I visited the site on 2 April to see the latest update. This is what I found:”The Viewbar is currently slated for release between Monday April 2nd and Monday April 16th . Keep on top of all AGLOCO Updates at the company blog : http://blog.agloco.com.”

So I went to the blog to see if there was any more positive information there and this is what I found: “Latest Blog entry – 28 March. Every now and then on this blog we will have another Member of the AGLOCO team share something from their point of view. This time, we have Ray Everett-Church, AGLOCO’s Chief Privacy Officer, talking about our anti-spam policy.”

Nice to see a sense of urgency at Agloco!

Wealth creation

Wealth toolbox allows you to benefit from their investment acumen and add to your wealth creation by remaining a member and referring others to the site. There has been a recent report on this website, which will open a long-term investment account in your name, funded with their money. You are credited with $50 simply for signing up. My account value grew by 2.4% in the first six days after I opened it. If you would like wealth creation like this, check it out.

Agloco Toolbar

Written on March 24th, 2007 by no shouts

Agloco is expanding rapidly and I have more than 30 members in my Agloco network. The latest information is that the Viewbar – on which the whole income generation idea depends – will be ready in March. To quote: AGLOCO is trying to build a sustainable company for everyone. One thing we have emphasized is that AGLOCO needs to be … prudent with money ..
I am pleased to hear that – a lot of ‘paid to’ sites have started out with high earnings schemes that could not be sustained: these have then been reduced drastically leaving members feeling they have been scammed. I would rather see a paying site with a manageable remuneration system for the long haul.
