The Beijing Institute of Protocol has announced its selection criteria for the first tranche of Hostesses for the Olympic Games.  Anybody sporting tattoo pictures need not apply: they are a strict no-no, along with ear studs (does that mean pierced ears?) .  There are two more subjective requirements as well: ‘women of uniform height with neat bottoms … ideaaly with glossy skin’.  Obviously Beijing Equality laws have a way to go!
