I had a look at a very useful website today, run by Compass Worldwide Properties. The site is primarily a portal for checking out property overseas, concentrating on property in Bulgaria, Brazil, Spain, Morocco, Dubai plus - and this is one that does not appear on all property websites- Romania. Apparently the cost of living in Bulgaria and Romania is practically the lowest in Europe, and property prices are still very good value as well.

In addition to properties for sale, there are links to new developments overseas for off plan investing. This can be a good strategy in a country where prices are on the rise, you pay a deposit now to secure the price. If the market continues to rise there should be an instant profit when it is completed.

I spent a while reading some articles on the UK property market as there was a piece about the introduction of Housing Information Packs. These packs are supposed to be a requirement from 1 June, but as far as I can see there seems to be very little in place for the organisation of the packs. Most home owners in the UK would have no idea how to get a Housing Information Pack!
