I have not seen such a comprehensive guide as Property Mart overseas before. This is a goldmine of information on seemingly hundreds of countries where you might want to buy a property for holidays, rental or investment. For each country you can read about the location, history, structure and property markets.

In addition there is a constantly updated section telling you about the country’s property hotspots. I love getting detail like this - it brings out the property developer in me and I always want to get on the next plane and check it out. My favourite is Spain, shown in the photo, apparently the Spain property hot spot to buy is the third largest city, Valencia.

There are also some good articles on the site about property investment around the world, including a very good piece on the future of the buy to let market here in the UK. This is a useful site for anybody who owns, or aspires to own, real estate anywhere in the world.
