I am so nervous of Wordpress I have tweaked with it as little as possible. After a few days I found that the blog was receiving dozens of unwanted spammy comments every day – most of them pornographic – so I did a little research to find out how to prevent them. Apparently the Aksimet plugin, a standard installation in the wordpress repertoire, does the job. I activated it and went my Wordpress account for the activation key. Like magic, this little gizmo has been doing the trick ever since. That was one of the best things I learned this week.
